Dear bands,

This has arisen after figuring out that the new song on the radio that I can't stand was by one band called Fall Out Boy. It should be duely noted that Fall Out Boy's Take This to Your Grave was a pretty nice cd. I liked it. You had potential. I was hoping for more of the same, or building off that cd. Then you put out "Sugar We're Going Down" as a new single. Why? Why must you suck so hard, so badly?

In conclusion, dear halfway decent bands... STOP SUCKING AS SOON AS MORE THAN 100 PEOPLE LIKE YOU.

Sadly yours,
Jaddy.

I don't know dude, I've only heard a couple songs and they sucked. Plus, they were soooooo destined for radio hits and mass popularity from the start. I mean they get reviewed in like Cosmo.

Aside from them, however, I don't think most bands change so much as their fans do once more than 100 people like them. Cause heaven forbid they actually sell some albums and earn a living. I hate people like that.

I know, the sell out argument is tired, but the more new music I come across the more I notice that you don't have to be ultra-radio friendly to be good, and to sell. The new stuff just sounds horrible... but you're right... if they want to make money, they can run off and make money. I'm sure other new fans will pick up the slack for departing fans.

like all the hipsters that love the arcade fire here in the us would probably hate them if they knew they're on video and radio countdowns across canada. alongside 50 cent destiny's child. haha stupid indie kids.
